Map envelopes

I have been trying to weed through some of my "stuff", but it's so hard. I continue to get so distracted. I ran into a pile of old maps I was going to get rid of, but then remembered I had seen some wonderful envelopes made from them on Pinterest. So, of course I had to take time out to make some.

  8. getting rid of maps???? why??? I can never have enough of them ... but your envelopes are cool, a bit similar to those you can buy here what are made of recycled maps and have the maps on the inside of the envelope.

Fun!!! I just love using maps for things like this! And I agree with Sue...make a journal with them. I have one somewhere that I made from maps and sketch papers...I wonder where it is????

  13. I learned to make these kind of envelopes from my mom, she made them not only from maps but from magazine pages (with photos) and - well, almost any 'page' she finds pretty and fitting... it's so nice to see your envelopes too! Such a beautiful pack!
