I've just finished up these 10 pages for the Circus Collaborative that I am involved with. The idea was to make 1 page and photocopy it 10 times .... didn't work out as planned. I have made 10 similars, which is fine, just took a long time to make them all. I have been looking for an excuse to use these little paper umbrellas, I just love them! Now I'm off to make some ATCs with them.Tuesday, May 25, 2010

Thank you for stopping by my blog and for taking the time to comment!
I appreciate each and every comment I receive. I will always respond and answer questions if there is any way to get back to you. Even if your name is listed, often there is no email address attached. So, if I don't respond to your comment, it doesn't mean I don't care, I just can't find you!
Fabulous pages! I, too, love those little umbrellas. Love the way you've stitched them down - much easier than gel medium! Hugs, Terri xoxo

ReplyDeleteThe altered books group I am involved with had to use these same drink umbrellas in this months challenge.
I'm so amazed and impressed with these pages. I have some of these umbrellas, too, but never in a million years would I have thought to use them this way. You have a very clever mind!!

ReplyDeleteGORGEOUS!!! I really like how it all works together- what a great idea for the umbrellas- I love the pop of color and the way you sewed them- the stiching adds such a nice texture! Also, are the backgrounds snips from your old journals?
