"JournalFest" at Fort Worden

I have to admit I am a VERY happy Vegemite (yeah, I don't get it either, but my sister always uses the term). My camera was turned in by a very kind soul (Thank you Kathy!) and Teesha Moore promptly mailed it back to me. Grant it, my photos are not the greatest, but I am non-the-less very happy to have them. Fort Worden is absolutely beautiful and even though many of my pictures were taken in the rain and a bit dark, they are wonderful to me. I plan to share many more photos within the next few days.

This is the best news in the world, Ingrid. I'm simply tickled that your camera has been returned. I just KNEW if someone found it, they would find a way to get it back to its owner.

See, I told you it was on its own little vacation. It just got jealous that you had such a wonderful time, like an errant child, it decided to have its own good time.

Seriously, I know you are thrilled and the photos are far superior to any coming out of my camera. What a wonderful post to start the day!

Fort Worden looks too wonderful for words! Living down here in Australia, this is my perfect image of American homes and countryside, other than Plymouth of course! Glad your camera was returned and you've been able to share your imagery!

I am so happy that your camera came back!!! I knew it would - far too wonderful of a group of people for it to get lost for long. Did you still want the photo of the octopus with the magnifying glass?

Ingrid, I've not visited in a while and I see you've been traveling. I thoroughly enjoyed a trip down memory lane with your pictures of the Fort/surrounding area. I was at Artfest a couple of years ago and loved the area. I'd consider that little house as well! :) Glad you were able to go.
