Registration for "De Corporis Humani Fabrica" (a delightfully creepy exploration of vintage anatomical drawings) at Whispering Woodlands in beautiful Verona, Wisconsin, has gone live. I'll be teaching there June 11/12/13 2010. I have to admit I am quite excited for this workshop. Along with this class there will also be a 2 day workshop for "Through the Rabbit-Hole", an Alice inspired tunnel book. If you are interested in signing up for one class or both, I suggest that you do it sooner than later, as there is limited space and these classes tend to fill up quickly. By the way, I have had several people ask the meaning of "De Corporis Humani Fabrica" ... a human anatomy book written by Andreas Vesalius in 1543. From Latin, it translates to "The Fabric of the Human Body".

These sound so fabulous, Ingrid. I hope to some day take a class with you. I love your Alice book!
Now I know what the name means. I'm sure this class will fill quickly. I got an e-mail from Jacky letting me know. Wish I could go and wish it was June already.
The classes sound very interesting and if only I lived a few states closer.
I hope the class fills up and you have a great time. With a cloudy 7 degree day here in Kalamazoo, June seems like a long way off but blink and it's here!
Just saw your entry on The Pulse, subject: supplies and am excited to combine the old binders and cereal boxes, as you described. I can only say, what a great suggestion. And I will revisit the publications you indicate with your work (1000 ARTIST JOURNAL PAGES, SOMERSET STUDIO, etc.) which I have here. Happy to have found you and your work.
you have such a great sense of making sense of the space ... there is so much going on .. yet it makes sense .. and is beautiful ...
nice work >>> Gina
