I have finally gotten around to finishing the outside cover of this journal. All this time and I just couldn't figure out what to do with it. I still may end up adding to it later, but as of now I am pleased with this.
I am trying to take care of a lot of nagging loose ends, such as incomplete journals. I have a few more pages to do in this one and it will be complete.
I think this is my all time favorite journal ... but then again I will probably say that as I am working in another journal. My favorite always seems to be the one I am working on or have just finished.

A. What did you use for the cover??? I love the idea of a spiral bound journal! You can add to it and I think that option is WAY cool!
B. How did you do the cover??? I love the effect you got. It almost airbrushed looking!
Perhaps this would make for a really nice online class???? Hint hint hint??? I know I'd be there!

I have been using chipboard loose leaf binders that I alter. I have become very fond of using these binders because it is so nice to be able to take the pages out and work on them individually. I get the airbrush effect by using lots of thin layers...paint mixed with a bit of glaze.

I hope you will consider publishing a book of your techniques or an online class - I can't imagine how you do most of what you do - I especially like the edge treatments with added beads and dodads. LOVE your work.
