I just wanted to share the very beginning pages of this journal. Working on a single page at a time is so much more pleasant then working in a whole book so I have taken the spiral binding apart for now. It's also a lot easier to work on that small area between the binding holes this way ... I'm a bit OCD about that sort of thing.

I had to laugh when I saw the hall pass. I have a ton of those that my friend Sally gave me when she retired from her School Psych job. I never knew how to use them, but you have inspired me. Nope, I won't be journaling on one (or more), but they are great background fodder. Thanks for the inspiration, since it's so perfect for this new bits and pieces journal.
This is a gorgeous beginning to the journal, and I love how you stitched the cover. I'm glad I'm not the only person who is OCD about covering up the holes on a page! I hope you talk about the inspiration for some of your pages. How do you decide what theme to follow or what comes next?
Wow you are spectacular. This is amazing!!
beautiful pages. it all looks so connected. (LOL that might sound daft but I know what I mean)
OMG Ingrid, I'm so glad you came to visit me at my blog. Your blog is incredible. These pages are to die for. I want to sit and flip through it. Your pages are so inspiring to me, I will be following your blog now(O: Don't you just love to start a new journal. It's the best feeling!
WOW what a lovely journal! Just popping in to my favorite blogs and saw this Ingrid!
What a treat to come here and find TWO posts waiting for me! I LOVE the way you solved the cover issue- and I totally agree that the ribbon really completes the effect! Now for what is probably a silly question- how do you remove the binding to work on the pages individually?
love the saying.... loving the pages. Ciao
I really was drawn to these pages - they really catch your eye. I love your lettering as well. Great beginning to your journal.
Love the journal! And my favorite colors, too! :)
Hi, Ingrid; I just discovered you, and your blog, while flipping through Kelly's Blog Hop and all I can say is "WOW!" Such colorful, beautiful, and inspiring journaling. I'm a new journaler, and look forward to staying in touch with you, and seeing more of your stunning pages. Happy creating!
Wow!!! I found your blog today, and WOW! Your journals are amazing. I really love your work.
I've seen your work in this latest issue of Somerset Journaling and I've seen it in a previous issue as well. You have a really beautiful, artsy style that I'm drawn to like everyone else. It's so colorful and I love how you take certain sentences and write them in big, bold letters in the middle of your journaling paragraphs. You are extremely talented and I am very inspired by your work. Thank you for that!
I really admire your work. Could you tell me what kind of pen or marker that you use?
