Post Card / Journal Page
A few weeks ago I taught a few workshops at Ginny's Small Studio Workshop Series . I had a great time and really enjoyed meeting Ginny and her husband John. I decided to send a Thank-You note in the form of a postcard that doubled as a journal page. It's always fun to see what can go through the postal system. I sent this as you see it without an envelope (it's a postcard after all), but I don't see any cancellation marks on the stamps after Ginny posted it on her blog. I bet the Post Office took care for it's safe delivery by putting it in one of those clear plastic envelopes! The size of this "Postcard" is 6 1/2" X 10 1/2".

Hihi, I bet if your postal system had been able to read the dutch "vergiftigde balletjes=poisened balls" on the front of your card, they would have called the special forces to blow up your card!! ;-)I love the card, it is absolutely typically you style!

What a beautiful post card! I'm can only imagine Ginny's excitement when she received it ... and the postman's inquisitive mind as to how it was created, lol.
How gorgeous! I am surprised that it made it, intact, through the postal system but I'm so happy that it did. Very cool, Ingrid...very cool, indeed.

I noticed the "vergiftigde balletjes" too... yep, you have a few Dutch blogreaders! I send collage postcard in a collage envelope to the USA last month but it made an U-turn right back to me - the Dutch postmen are not as smart I guess (after making the address REAL BIG and my send-adress real small, it was delivered right.. pfew)

The post office did not put in anything. It came just as you intended. I think they probably passed it around and forgot to cancel it. It would have been hand cancelled as it would not go through the machine with the beads on it.

What a beautiful way to send a note to Ginny. I'm sure she was tickled. It was so nice to meet you at the workshop. I'm working on my Octopuses Garden as we speak (taking a break while my pages dry).
