It's only been a month since I first came up with the idea of making Alien and Skeleton dolls. To get to this point has to be a speed record for me, but then again this is pretty much all I have focused on in the past month. I am still waiting for parts to dry before I finish loading the kiln. I hope to fire in a few days, but then this project will be put on hold for awhile. After firing the next step will be to make patterns for the cloth bodies. While I can't continue on these dolls right now, there will at least be parts available to work with when time allows. Friday, February 11, 2011
Waiting....

Thank you for stopping by my blog and for taking the time to comment!
I appreciate each and every comment I receive. I will always respond and answer questions if there is any way to get back to you. Even if your name is listed, often there is no email address attached. So, if I don't respond to your comment, it doesn't mean I don't care, I just can't find you!
Alliens in waiting. Patience and focus. some ideas seem to take forever from conception to the fruit. We are all waiting. I hope it doesn't take nine months. Billie
ReplyDeleteThese are wonderful!!! Congrats on such a fab idea! I have had a kiln on my wish list forever....still haven't taken the plunge. Would love to make little ceramic creations. Do you have any advice on kiln brands? I need it to be simple. :-)
ReplyDeleteDo you like yours?
These are looking good, nice to see a full kiln shelf, I used to be a potter. Looking forward to seeing the next stage :)
