"Woodlands" journal

The last few journal pages from my "Woodlands" journal for now. Still haven't found the couple of items I want to add to this journal before calling it finished, so I have decided to set it aside for awhile.

The small inserted page is from an old french prayer book. I'm afraid I have forgotten who gave this to me at JournalFest, but I do recall her saying that it was very difficult for her to take pages out of the book. As both sides of the page have a beautiful illustration on it, I just couldn't bear to glue it down in my journal. I thought to put it between 2 sheets of plastic was a good solution and figured I'd give it a soft touch of bling while I was at it.

  1. I have so loved watching this Woodlands journal come to life ! I love the three ring binder aspect of it. Could I ask what size you started with and what kind of paper you use to create your pages? Thank you for sharing and for the inspiration ! I have so many handbound journals I have made.. would love to try this !!!

  3. Great way to include a double sided piece into a journal....no more which side to glue dilemma!

  4. Love this journal. I work on several at a time - often setting one aside. Sometimes things just have to simmer awhile till they are done. Beautiful work! have a lovely Thanksgiving!

Thank you for stopping by my blog and for taking the time to comment!
I appreciate each and every comment I receive. I will always respond and answer questions if there is any way to get back to you. Even if your name is listed, often there is no email address attached. So, if I don't respond to your comment, it doesn't mean I don't care, I just can't find you!
