Art Journaling Magazine!

I just came home yesterday from a fabulous teaching trip to Las Vegas and was greeted by this magazine in my mail box.  What a delightful thing to come home to!  I really feel honored to have been interviewed by Rice Freeman-Zachery for this.  This 11 page article is so beautifully written and the photography is absolutely outstanding. Actually, I can't say enough about the entire magazine ... it's a great publication.

Got mine in the mail too. Loved reading your article. Nice to see a "local" artist featured.

My copy has just arrived, so going to go and dive in, but just wanted to say how well deserved this is. Your art is stunning work. Obviously I'm not even a tiny bit jealous ..... OK then, I am rather. Well done you.

OMGoodnes, wonderful news, love it.

Can I ask you a question - where do you get your magazine style lettering from - or do you actually cut it from magazines?

I so so love your work.

Keep us happy and keep it comning.

thank you ingrid for seeking me out and letting me know about the lettering - I assumed it was and have spent the afternoon cutting out letters and sticking them onto card etc - thank you so much for the great inspiration.

Hi, I'm Tori. I have enjoyed your work for a while now and was thrilled to see the amazing Rice interview you. I feel validated reading some of the supplies you use (I like my gesso but have used housepaint primer before I could find cheap gesso!) Your style resonates with me as well as your attitude toward finding what works..both with common (cheap) stuff and supplies you won't compromise on. Thank you for continued inspiration, Tori
