"Her Silent Way"

Much to my delight, I ran across this delicate little metal purse and of course it had to be made into a necklace. This tiny purse is approximately 1 ½’ X 1 ½". The perfect size for tucking a small note or concealing a written secret. Made with milky glass beads and fresh water pearls. It certainly is a unique piece finished with that vintage patina we are all so fond of. The necklace can be adjusted from 20"- 24". It has just been added to my ETSY shop. I will see if there is an interest in this and if so I will expand on the idea. SOLD

First, I finally got my copy of "Art Journaling" and was just so freaking excited to see your work and words in there. You know how I just adore your work so to see you in there was fabulous! My hubby was forced to sit and read and look through your entire section. *smile*

Anyway, what exactly is a mantle purse? Whatever it orignally was, it is now the most awesome piece of jewelry I've ever seen! I love it...gonna do another (since this one is already sold?) Yum!

This is FANTASTIC! I've not done any altered books yet, but they are on my list of things to try out. You've given me incentive to start sooner than later.

Peace & Love,
~Barb~
