I love the sense of fun and whimsy that your pages have. The "peek-a-boo" edges add to that. Really cool pages.

I've been lurking at your blog here once in a while, but have never posted a comment. I found your blog by chance, just hitting that "next blog" button a couple times from another bloggers pages I visit. And then I bookmarked you, and followed you because your work impressed me.

Beyond that, you have inspired me. I'm a multi-media artist who has just kept it to art quilts for the last few years. But I think I may take one of my quilt tops, and back it with some foam board or matt board, and add multi media accents like paper to it and turn it into a giant journal page after visiting here. Very inspiring!

Ooooo...these colors are delicious together. Love that pointy edge against the scalloped edge.

What a really nice example of layering page edges. I also love the balls you managed to cut away (something I would have trouble doing).

As an aside, yes, I love your colors, layouts, and genius of all your spreads, but more important, I enjoy reading your thoughts.

This is something I have struggled with when working on tutorials. The cover on my work table keeps getting dirtier and dirtier and it distracts from my instructions, which are (or should be) the main focus of the photo. I've always enjoyed your vessels photographed against greenery. To me, it added a layer of enjoyment, but I can see how it too might be distracting.

And you could NOT NOT make a good first impression, even if you photographed your art in a compost pile!!
