Journalfest Notebook Video

This is my first ever video.  I am rather pleased with how it came out and wanted to share it.  This is basically just a practice and learning (for me) flip through video of an event journal I made a few years ago for the last Journalfest.  It was made in the binder format.  At the time I made this journal I didn't have any of the chip board binders that I like so well, so I ended up deconstructing a vinyl binder and rebuilding it. This video doesn't show that process, but instead the end result.   I plan to make a video demonstrating the process, so if you're interested, make sure to stop by again soon!

Fantastic, Ingrid! I look forward to seeing the deconstructing/reconstructing process. Thanks for posting this inspiration.

It would be super awesome if you would produce some of your workshops in a video format that we could purchase and watch at home. I cannot afford to travel to the places you teach live, but would so love to see you in action and to learn from you and your mad skillz.

Very compelling and beautiful work. Great video with lots of ideas. I never thought of using a binder for a journal but it looks like there's one in my future.

Loved sharing this - and its interesting to see how great a ring binder can be as a journal. I did use a small one for a Brave Girls Club course, and found it worked very well - perhaps I should be looking around for a ring binder replacement for the spiral bound books I use at present ....? As always I just love your work.

Hi Ingrid,
So excited to see that you've begun to enjoy making videos! They were both a thrill to watch and I can't tell you how glad I am to hear you're working on your FIRST ONLINE COURSE... so many firsts!

I remember, a few years ago, before you began to teach, telling you how MUCH I hoped you'd consider doing an e-course ~ this is fabulous news. I will be sure to spread the word! You know what a fan I have always been.
