My Final Wishes

This is a spread in my "Altered Notebook#2". This spread is my contribution to the GPP crusade #24. I actually do not have the card filled out with my final wishes yet. It's something I have never really given a great deal of thought about ... perhaps because I am not ready to deal with my own mortality. However, the card is ready and waiting in it's little envelope for when I can come to terms with it. The images are photo transfers done with Great White Photo imaging paper and Goldens heavy bodied Matte Gel Medium.

ingird - lovely pages! i can appreciate that it's not an easy thing to think about but you've made the first step - bravo! on a less serious note i smiled that you wrote "morality" vs mortality *grin* thanks for playing along and sharing your journal with the street team.

What a beautiful set of pages. I have to spent some time and really think through what I would want to say for this crusade. Thanks for your inspiration. Hugs.

I love the idea of having your "final wishes" in a sacred space like your journal. Who will you tell about them ? I am still with this crusade...
I love your pages ! Great job, Inge !

I always love your pages. I'm trying to evolve a distinct style of my own such as you have. Luckily, I get side-tracked too easily to copy someone else entirely or I might be tempted!

Lots of people have trouble with this crusade's topic but it's so much better to be prepared than not. What really helped me think through it was the idea that everyone would know that I had thought of them and had left something specific to them. Also, it can make it so much easier on your loved ones when they are distraught.

I'm with you, Ingrid. I'm not yet ready to think about this or deal with it, yet. I do love what you've done, though.

This prompt has had me thinking all month. I've even visited a couple of cemeteries to photograph them for Halloween projects and found myself contemplating more and more about how I want to be remembered and how I can make things easier for those who I leave behind. Your journal is gorgeous. I love all of the details.

It's such a lovely page.
Even this is a hard topic to discuss about, but when the things happen to me, I have to choose to face it.

Your pages look incredible. When the time is right you will be able to write on the card. Perhaps jotting down one or two things every now and then may make it easuier than all at once. Good Luck.

Wow, I love what you did with this. A very creative way of approaching this very difficult to face subject. When I first read about this month's challenge, I knew I could not bring myself to go here. I never thought about doing what you did. Great, great idea!
