The "Rings and Things" bead show comes to town twice a year and I always go when I can. Admittedly, I have beads I have bought from them 3 years ago that I still haven't used, but it doesn't stop me from buying more. This year I REALLY held back and only bought 3 strands ... but these I HAD to have. The red skulls are dyed Magnesite. I plan to use those for bead work that will dangle from the spine of handmade books.
The beads above are Fired Agate with Black Matrix, 16mm. Yes, they do look rather like dirty little golf balls, but they way the light hits the irregular faucets is beautiful ... had to have them.
And lastly these are 14mm Dyed Fire agate, the colors are amazing and just can't be justified with these photographs. I most definitely will make a necklace with these.
Nice to see which beads you just had to have! :) Thanks for sharing - - I'm very partial to the faceted rounds also myself! And thanks for coming to our bead show!

I have such a hard time passing up beads. Your three strings are wonderful. Have fun!
Love your bead choices. And the Braille books - oh my gosh! What a great SIL!
